cotntop said:This show kinda reminds me of what is being forced down our throats by the ruling class today. Mandatory seems to be the word of the day. Those 3 episodes put a new light on what freedom through history means to me. Series need to be shown in schools.

gilream said:I too have watched Sons of Liberty and enjoyed it. We should all encourage every young person that we interact with to see it. While not 100% factual it is still inspiring and entertaining and breathes life into the fight for freedom that our founders endured.
My earliest American ancestor was born in Scotland in 1725. His first appearance in American records is from a muster roll for the French and Indian War in 1755. He migrated from Butts (now Warren) county NC to Wilkesboro, NC around 1775. In October of 1780 he and 2 sons joined the expedition to fight the British led Tory Militia at Kings Mountain, NC. (The Patriot militia routed them of course and proved that the Red Coat army could not easily sweep the southern colonies aside as they had planned.) My family has participated in every armed conflict since.
