I just ordered some junk from Midway, & needed to add something to get me to $100 for free shipping, so I threw a couple of 500ct bricks of the stuff....fingers crossed....

I purchased a Nelson Conversion on a 1911 frame. It is a well built pistol, EGW and Wilson Combat internals and fitted well, nice, clean trigger. The guy I bought it from has some physical difficulties with his hand and was no longer able to shoot it. He said it shot well with CCI SV. I tried it and was disappointed. Switched to SK Semi-Auto and cut the 10 shot groups at 25 yards in half.

I just noticed yesterday that our club is having another CCI SV only benchrest match in January. We did it last year and it was interesting. My B14R had the best score out of 10 shooters, there were a couple 82G’s and a 52E.

At one time Federal Auto Match wasn't too bad at least in my M-52B's that I had, but that was a long time ago. Then Federal changed something with Auto-Match and it took a major nose dive in accuracy. If there is one frustration I have never overcome in .22 rimfire shooting it is the lack of good target ammunition from an American manufacturer. When Federal sold Gold Medal Ultra Match they didn't make it, they had it made and boxed by RWS. My other frustration is trying to find anyone that has Center-X in stock.

I've never got 2 good groups in a row with any lot of CCI so it is never even a consideration.
My 10/22 absolutely loves the SK stuff though.
