Other than CCI..what is considered the best Standard Velocity round?

Your gun will tell you. Remington target and Remington subsonic shoot lights out in my 541T, but are all over in my 513T which adores T22. I prefer lead and wax over copper wash, but that is just me.

The Winchester XT22 has been really accurate in several of my .22's as well. Pre-panic, it was relatively inexpensive too.

4.95 a box is what it has been going for awhile. Funny how Wolf primers and centerfire is some of the cheapest stuff out there, and their 22lr is mid range on the price. Cabela's was 4.95 in September for Wolf.

Wolf rimfire is made by a Lapua subsidiary. Centerfire and primers are made in the Russian Tula Arms Plant.

Try the Eley stuff. Had good luck with the "Club" ammo in my Annies & Rugers.

I have gone to eley semi-auto for squirrels in my 10/22. Thw 10x red box doesn't always kick out the empty. Expensive but as good as it gets.Used to use Rem. standard velocity, but try and find it.
