I placed an online order on the 17th and as near as I can figure, it is just hanging in limbo. Just wondering if they are having problems or I should be calling them. I don't like to pressure them if they are having technical issues. Has anyone placed an order with Sinclair the past few days and received notification of shipment?
 
Tried to place an order with Sinclair shortly after receiving their latest flyer. No one answered phones after repeated effort I ordered same product from Brownells and got it in 3-4 days and 10-15 percent cheaper. Hope nothing ominous is happening to Sinclair. They are a class outfit.

I had an order with them around 5 months ago that had trouble. I ordered an single item that was advertised as being in stock. After waiting 30 days I called them and they said the order was being processed at thay time so I decided to wait a little longer. 15 days later I called and was told again that the order was being processed. Two weeks later I called again and was told the same thing again the order was being processed. I cancelled the order and reordered the same item from Midway and got it in just over a week.

I've dealt with Sinclair for over 25 years and this is the first time that this kind of thing has happened. I will continue to do business with Sinclair but in the future when I make a new order I think I will be a little more forceful in demanding that advertised instock items be processed in a more timely manner.
 
I have received my order E-mail and about the time I was wondering where my shipped E-mail was the order arrived. This has happened more than once....But everything had always gotten here intact and timely...

Aren't Brownells and Sinclair the same company today?
 
IME, they never have been particularly fast about shipping. Otherwise they are great to deal with. I send most of my business their way.

Midway is at the bottom of my list after several bad experiences there.
 
I ordered a pile of stuff on the 14th, still showing prosessing. Wish I had known they were moving, would have ordered elsewhere. I have some time and waiting on parts sux.
 
Sinclair and Brownells (1 in the same) suck. I put an order in Oct 20th. They said it was in stock. Still ain't got it. Called them twice, first time they said it was in stock it would be shipped the coming Friday. 2 weeks later I called them, they said they had it, they were moving and it would be shipped soon. Still ain't got it.
Told them to tell Steve Brownell ( who you hear from on a greeting when you make a phone order) that his business sucks.
 
I have always used brownells as they are 30 minutes away and used to love it. Now you have to search 3 websites for your product. I can't remember the last time they had the best price on anything. I deemed them to be the Walmart of the shooting industry. I would love to be able give them my business again so close I can get my products the same day. They are moving to Grinnell and Crows the FFL dealer is moving into the old brownells building.
 
Call them. I had an issue this summer, once I called the item was shipped. If I did not call probably still would not have it.
 
They may be moving, but they let all of their employees go at the Indiana facility on a 3 day notice. Sinclair will see no more of my money! >:(

All,
I have been waiting for 2 months for them to complete a 4 item order, when I ordered it they only had one of the items (bolt lube), so I changed to a different lube. Back order on case lube, and a shooting bag. I received the case lube after about three weeks wait, no shooting bag. Called about two weeks ago and have to reorder the bag, called again today after about 15 mins. on hold I get the run around again about the bag, I told them to cancel the bag order and was told they could not. If I did business the way the people at Sinclair do I would be on the street. I tried to talk to the manager of the sales department and was cut off one time and put on hold for 20 mins was not able to talk to him. What is going on with Sinclair? I will not do business with then ever again.

You're dealing with Brownells now, Sinclair is just a name on the catalog and that will be gone soon. Brownells and Midway are competing for world domination in the mail order business.
