I started the trust process with them in Oct. 22. I had to resubmit finger prints as I did not do a good job on the first set.

My application was submitted in Nov. 22 electronically and approved July 23. They shipped to my front door the first week of August 23.

A totally painless process. I recommend them to anyone. Excellent customer service.

Mine took 14 months in total. Was a local ffl doing it all for me. First go around ATF said my ssn did not match finger print card and application, even though they did. So had to resubmit. That was 8 months the second time. Lots of denials were going on during 2022

I added an extra month to the process dragging around with the fingerprinting. Still, it only took 10 months start to finish.

I didn’t have any issues using them, and I am happy with my suppressors. I did have a friend that had nothing but problems getting his can. Took several months after approval. I would consider using them again but a decent LGS would probably be great and would not be limited to SC cans.

I went through the process to get my first suppressor in July. I used silencer shop a local place to me had the kiosk I could do the fingerprints and such on. Between that and the help from them guys it was simpler then I thought it would be. At the time they told me they were seeing wait times between 8 and 9 months.

I did the same and will do it again on my next several. I might pay a little more but it was easier for me. Took me right at 10 months but that last year. I heard they are a little quicker now.

Ya I felt the same it cost few bucks extra but for me not knowing nothing about it first time it was worth it. They told me also don't ever expect that 90 day efile time the atf claims, I doubt anyone has ever seen 90 days.

Same here, I took my time returning the print cards and still had the can in my hand in 10 months. Very painless. Wonder if you need to do the finger print cards for each one after that or if they keep them on file?

If you buy from" Silencer Central" or the "the Silencer shop", your finger print cards are kept on file.
There is no need to re-submit.
You may need to re-submit a new photo if there is a few years between purchases or if you change to a trust versus a non-trust.

Even better! Thanks for the info.

I have found out that if you have done any type of work over the years that is rough on your hands that you may not have enough finger prints left on your hands for them to match up to your S.S. number or photo I.D.

After three time of being rejected I called the FBI and talked to a very nice lady who explained to me that many of the people who have their finger prints checked have run into this and that she had run into this with one young lady who was 35 years old and her prints couldn't be matched up to her social security number because of it.

She also stated that it is common for people in their 60's or 70's to run into this simply because their prints have worn down enough by this time that they can't make a good match with them.

i bet if you were a murder suspect they would have no problems matching prints.

Under this regime it's a thousand wonders that anyone gets approved. The ATF sort of puckers up and turns a little bilious under democrat regimes. It's atrocious that we have to go through this mess just to save our hearing. This tax mess is a law that should've never been birthed.

Thanks 69mach, but I hope to not have find out that way. lets leave that one up to one of the millions of nut jobs wandering around on our streets now.

But that's O.K, the people who runs most of our cities are the same one's that keep feeding them the drugs their trying to help them stop using. A great example of Pretzel logic if ever there was one.

Hmmmm. I lost half of two fingers in 2020, wonder how that’s going to affect getting this done ?

Sorry to hear about that! You are to note it on the card accordingly, see the instructions on the back.

I have a guy with several NFA items in his mid 70s & diabetic. He doesn't finger print well & has not had a transfer denied yet.

Thanks for the info, this is my first set of fingerprints since the accident. Just kinda curious how it goes.
