id like everyones thoughts on sightron scopes. got a big sky sii 6-24 x42 for my cooper. thinking bout getting one for my savage.

also. gun was sitting on bi pod today and i knocked it over. had to resight gun in. it was wayyy off. got sighted back and and its shooting perfect. need to do anything farther. got big coyote hunt coming up in a week or so. new territory. very promising.

I'd guess maybe it wasn't in the rings good. I've got a bushnell elite 4200 in a set of el-cheapo burris signature z-rings and it's seen rougher treatment than tipping off a bi-pod. Was it just a short pod like a 6-9 or something taller?

Due to the fact that I'm stuck on Burris Signature Select 6-24x44mm at a mere $565 for perfection of view and clarity, I primarily use 20x power. Seems I save the 24x for ridiculously difficult shots. A fast-focus eye box is essential regarding quick, precise target aquisition at various ranges. i.e. Leupold needs to adapt to this swift advantage. Is Burris the best for the money spent? Depends on the model selected, I suppose. I'm happy with my final selection, after going through six scopes. I tend to learn the hardway. Cliffy

id say its a 9 inch maybe. hopefully its fixed. got a coyote hunt in a hot area this weekend. im so excited i can hardly keep my composure. got a baby sitter. yes!

burris huh? i would like to purchase 50mm scope at least. hope to go out west for possibly antelope. what all scopes did you go through? which brands?
