Yep, 65gr V-Maxs/70gr Blitzkings and some 65gr Bergers. I also got some 60&62gr Bergers to try. Shoots the 65gr bullets very well so far. Would really like to try some 75gr V-Maxs.

Just wondering, how light were you able to get that new trigger, and still have it safe. On my last 6BR I stopped at 11 oz, and I have a new one in the box for my current build of a 22BR. I use the accurate way to measure trigger pull, a plastic bag hanging on the trigger, and I add bird shot until it goes off, them weight every thing including the bag, it works great. The poor mans way.
Nice rifle, have fun..

Mikem- I'm not sure the trigger is not on gun yet it's in the mail on another action I bought. But as soon as I get it on and adjusted, I'll let you know what it safely breaks at.

There's another guy I know who has one,pdog06) maybe he'll chime-in and say what his breaks at

I have mine currently set at about 14oz, just because I will be using it for some prariedog hunting. It is a fair medium between a nice light bench trigger wt. and a field wt..

pahog- Will you tell me a little more about your rifle, as I want to build something similar for a coyote calling rig...

How much does your rifle weigh?
Is is a repeater or single shot? If a repeater, how well does it feed?

What's the scoop with the custom Harris bi-pod? Are those lighter legs than the norm?

Thanks!

topwater225, Gun weighs 11.75 pounds w/o Bi-pod
Gun is set-up with a single shot follower, never tried as a repeater.
Bi-pod legs are lighter than the factory legs, but it was the longer version 12' to 25' to start with.

I like it, it works very well and is very stable for prone shooting. I carry Stoney Point shooting sticks for sitting shots.

Thanks!

Man, that is a sweet setup. You would also win a lot of Benchrest matches with that group.

I think I am going to make mine a repeater and maybe a little lighter barrel contour. I need the rifle and scope to come in at the 10# range.
