Not with the 10-56x60 but I have two 6-24x50 versions and they are great scopes imo. Sightron focuses more on premium quality glass and components (quality Japanese optics) and less on the bells and whistles and it allows them to market an excellent no frills riflescope at a great price. I have compared them side by side with scopes costing several hundred dollars more and the sightrons are extremely competitive. In my opinion the sightron sIII series may just be the best scopes available for the money today.

Buy with confidence. Do a few searches on the various forums and I bet you get next to zero negative feedback about Sightron scopes. Get it from Big Supply Shop at a rock bottom price. Like other's have said - best bang for the buck.

I have 3 S11`s,one big sky,and 2 of the S111`s,all are great scopes. Was just wondering on the clarity of the 10-56 how it was in the upper end of the power. We just ordered an 8-32 to go on my son`s 338 Edge, and pondering on the other.

I've not experienced this on either of mine. The side focus isn't marked for each range like many scopes are but it goes from 40 yards to infinity and it's very responsive and easy to tune for range.
little off topic but how do the s11 big sky series compare to the regular s11 series optically. thank you Cody

I had one but sold it. It's not bad on the upper end, but it doesn't compare with my Marches or my NF comp. For the money it's not a bad scope, but if your use to high end scopes your going to be disappointed.

Cody, I have sold many of the 6-24 Big skys. That was my personal favorite when
I was PD shooting. I cant compare it to the reg SII, because I never sold one of these.
I have personally owned and sold some 3-9 and 4-12 in the SI series, they are brilliantly clear. If anyone is considering a 10-50 SIII, go for it. I personally own 4 and they are
wonderful.
Any Sightron optic is alway more quality than what you pay for, compared to other
brands on the market. LDS

+2 on Larry's quote.

#1....I am not a Worldclass , champion shooter. i am a bit more advanced than the guy shooting at paper plates stapled to a fence post....but I am no expert.

I have been shooting for 45+ years and have tried quite a few of the top tier scopes. Currently have a few from Nightforce and a Zeiss and a Leica. Have probably owned forty Leupolds over the years, with ALL of my hunting rifles but one wearing a Leupold.

I discovered the S III's 4 yrs back when I bought a 6-24X for $500 used. it has served me very well. Wish it had a zero stop but for the bucks...it's a very good LR scope.

Just mounted a new 8-32x56 S III that the UPS man just dropped off. Paid $755 for it. It's clear, bright and overall...crisp. Yes, surely some clarity or crispness on edges lost at 28-32 X but the loss is more than livable.

Compared this scope side by side with my 5-25X NF ATACR just minutes ago. Cloudy with light snow at the time. Is the NF clearer? Crisper? Brighter? If it is, it's a minute amount that I really can't pick up.

For 1/3 the price tag of the ATACR....It is a hell of a scope....zero stop or not.

BUY the 10-50 and try it out.

I have one and have several other SIII scopes. They are an excellent value, even more so when you can pick one up here gently used for 25% off.

Only issue I have had is the focus knob on the SIII 10-50 let go internally. Sightron fixed it promptly with zero whining at no cost to me except the shipping to them.

Have a 8x32 s111 that I shoot 1000yd silloets at ridgway it is an awesome scope that tracks from 850 to 1000yds all day long without missing a beat,it has the moa reticle

My 10X50 SIII has never disappointed me. I can just barely see a better image thru a Nightforce Comp on someone elses rifle but the difference in price in my opinion does not justify buying the Nightforce. I suppose if money were no problemI would consider a Nightforce or March, but it is. I have shot better scores than others using those scopes and did not feel handycaped by my scope.

I own several SIII scopes, two 6-24x50 and a 10-50x60, they all are very good scopes for the money, they all have rather sensitive paralax adjustment, they all track very well, they all have the MOA-2 reticle which I like very much, the 10-50 is very clear up to about 40X beyond that the image quality is good but not great
