Sierra 25cal 131gr HPBT

When someone shoots the mystery manufacturer blems, please let us know how they perform.

As for the Sierra 25cal 131gr HPBT, both BulletCentral and Sierra have stock of the 100 count. BC just 3 boxes left. Those suckers were more popular than hotcakes at a VFW breakfast.

First outing with the 131s look promising.
Just a spit ball load to see how they looked at a few different seating depths. It was cold and breezy so some of the horizontal could be that. Not bad though. I'll do a more thorough accuracy test Friday or Saturday hopefully.
This is from a 25 creedmoor 26" barrel
40gr H4350 these 15 shots averaged around 2880 ish

Was suprised to find the 100s in stock at Sierra; ordered 3 which apparently were shipped today.. Thank you all for all the info, even if I was really slow on the uptake.

2nds ?

Sierra sent me reloading data for the 131 in the 25Creed (their only data for this bullet so far). Teasers--only one powder, StaBALL6.5 reached 2850FPS, five powders achieved 2800FPS, and one (IMR4831) achieved only 2650FPS; they didn't test H4831.

PM me and I'll send the file to make it easier to print.

I got my 1K from Midway. They did not have a cannelure, as Midway said in the ad. I weighed 5 random out of each box of 100. .6gr spread from light to heavy. 3/4ths were in a .2gr spread. One of the fun things about Winter; weighing 1000 bullets and boxing them in .1gr increments. Followed by weighing 300 LAPUA 6.5-284 cases. Looks like a little army in shiny brass suits!

Most I've pushed them is 41gr H4350.
That was 2915fps out of a 26" 25 Creedmoor
Felt like there is room to go higher if you wanted, but I have no need to.
