Yep, no more or less them than you. Just because someone says that doesn't mean it's accurate or couldn't change at any point in the future. Maybe that's how they positively mark 2nd's so they can't be passed off as 1st's. Or for that matter anyone from manu to seller, any of them could add those marks. Assuming they are even there on the product. We'll see soon enough!
Regardless, how they shoot is all that matters.
I never said they did and just because a company has never done anything in the past doesn't mean they never will in the future, we see that all the time from companies. Unless it's released or leaked out of Midway we may never know who made these even if they show up and look exactly like Sierra.Bulletman has looked at and shot more sierra bullets than probably anyone else in existence.
Why would any bullet manufacturer go through a different step just for them to be labeled seconds?
Thank you ! Ordered another 1kUm yeah what's in the sales picture and description is NOT what I got today.
Just another example of don't believe everything you read!
Already made another order. -- Jeff
I sample weighed 10 or so, might need to sort em but otherwise they all look fine to me. Just not purdy.
low 130.96
high 131.18
most were 131.02-131.06

Next question is when will you be testing them?Back in the 90's we were skeptical of the Nosler 2nd's until we got some and tried em. After that we bought a slug every time they had em available. Sometimes a person just has to get some and see, then if they work out hope there's still a bunch left so you can order lots more.
Nosler was the company that Midway sold blem bullets for. They were listed as bonded copper jacketed bullets (partitions) but with a cannelure. They actually used the word Partition and with a cannelure there was doubt about that description. Turned out there was a cannelure and they were in fact Nosler Partitions. It's always possible for anything to be the case that's not the norm. This run will end quickly. I'd recommend those that want the bullets, get them ASAP. They won't last like the BJ bullets didn't. It's fortunate that Sierra will be continuing the production of the 131 BJ under Sierra's name. Just much pricier.Back in the 90's we were skeptical of the Nosler 2nd's until we got some and tried em. After that we bought a slug every time they had em available. not any time soon, I don't currently have a 25 but been planning one so this was a no brainer.Next question is when will you be testing them?
It was a teaser that Sierra put out there. They want to see how desirable these will be before going all out on the true 131 Sierra SMK bullet. They didn't do a huge run in those yet. Obviously they will sell the Hell out of them. They replaced the Blackjack bullet and many chambered their .257 rifles with the BJ reamer. I think in the end, Sierra will be pleased that the BJ company is history.I'm sure I'll probably wish the same at some point down the road. Clicking the link not only shows no longer available, but they changed the price too. Which is a bit odd if it was a one time thing. Maybe they didn't want people seeing that 23c price and kicking themselves.
The 131's has been on the market for months now, it's not a teaser. I've personally sold around 16,000.You state these first-two sentences as fact.. Do YOU KNOW these statements to be fact, or are these your speculations?
Thats exactly what they were. Speculations. An opinion. The 131's has been on the market for months now, it's not a teaser. I've personally sold around 16,000.
