I use die shims under my costom sizeing die (I know thats the old way) After a few firings, I find that the die bumps back less and less. I set up a measuerd bump of .004 after the 2nd fireform and is at .002 at match time. When it gets hard to close the bolt, I trash that lot of brass instead of taking a few thous of shims out. I dont like to fight the bolt at the bench
