He started out as a sub DL 4 years ago to now part of the regular rotation. He was a 200lb RB in HS and I think linebacker. PSU got him on weights and proper diet, grew him to an undersize 6-1 285 lb # DL. He has a motor that does not quit. I don't know him personally but have never heard a negative word about him thru HS or college.

That's an incredible feat. Getting off the practice squad is like most athletes dream. That kid is at the top of the top.

Yes I've lived with gout for some 30 years, ever since I started Allopurinol I have not had an attack, and don't tell me I never had a good attack, when I had them I would kill anyone that stood between me and my 1000 MG Ibuprofen and that's how you make a attack subside and deal with the pain , With the Allopurinol you help your body get rid of the URIC acid that's causing the gout flares, You want to tell me about Gout?
 
I've loved football for 65 years. The antics of some players have pissed me off at times, but not giving up something l enjoy because of them.

Then we agree. A dude with gout, wouldn't be in the super bowl unless on some serious meds.

Ibuprofen is not a serios med, what do you think the Dr's are doing in the little tent on the field, they don't want you to see the guy get the shot, winching in pain limping into the tent, they come out running back out onto the field, what did you think the Dr's are doing kissing it better? My God you have guys playing in cast's broken wrist's, Gout gonna keep a guy off the field, surly you jest? I know don't call you surly

Well I did- about 25 years ago. Celebrating like hyenas over something they are expected to do and get grossly overpaid doing it. Ditto nascar when templates and other BS rules came in "to level the playing field."
I did just watch Reba and the flyover, but now it's off.
