Same here. Quoted a price for materials and labor without ever seeing the roof. When they finished they had less than 1/2 bundle of shingles left.

I did the same thing with a Solar company. The gal sitting in Texas was able to give me an accurate quote and hardware list without anyone ever visiting my house. Pretty impressive actually.

And my guess was going to be "On the coast".

When you come through Customs & Immigration in LA if you are a USA passport holder you do not need to hand it over or have it scanned, you just step up to a machine and “Look directly into the screen” and presto!
You are identified from your facial scan that formally lived in your passport chip, and you get a “Welcome to the USA Mr/Mrs/Ms” and away you go…
