Same here. Quoted a price for materials and labor without ever seeing the roof. When they finished they had less than 1/2 bundle of shingles left.

I did the same thing with a Solar company. The gal sitting in Texas was able to give me an accurate quote and hardware list without anyone ever visiting my house. Pretty impressive actually.

And my guess was going to be "On the coast".

You are identified from your facial scan that formally lived in your passport chip, and you get a “Welcome to the USA Mr/Mrs/Ms” and away you go…

I am up a ladder installing a high tech TV antenna to get digital signal. Call the 1800 number to get info on where to aim it. The girl asks address, I give it to her, she says yellow house with pond on the east side. No the house to the east of that one. OK turn the antenna to 169 degress on the compass. I tell her I must go buy a compass. My wife at the foot of the ladder "use my cell phone, it has a compass in it." So I set the antenna and ask both of them if they know how to run a ballistics calculator. Both say No, OK so quite thinking I am stupid.
