Shooting Stool

Awhile back I saw a link on here for a really nice shooting stool and now that I am ready to buy can't seem to find who sold it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

John

This is what I'm using and it's GREAT:

JW I was shooting a 1000yd match Saturday at Williamsport and the wooden stool I was using broke and another competitor loaned me his for the shootoff. It was very comfortable andd adjustable. Right now they are on sale, I ordered mine yesterday. Here is the link http://www.grizzly.com/products/Guitar-Drummer-s-Stool/H5965

The problem with the hydralic stools, they eventually wear out and are not compact. Get a drummers throne. You can pick up a very well made Gibraltar for under $100.

Check out the alera plus stools. It is sort of like a chair with a back but folds easy to store flat. Very rigid and rated for 300 pounds. It is their AAP-CS612 IL SERIES I THINK I GET THROUGH AMAZON. It took only one day to arrive. The padding is great and is extremely stable.

That is a super price but Shiraz needs to change the writeup which says; "seat that uses the same high quality foam that is used in bus seats to provide maximum comfort". perhaps things have changed, however way back when I rode the school bus their seats were far from comfortable. :)

Not padded. But a good stool

I like a seat that is solid. One that is easy to adjust and has a lot of adjustment. Bench heights really can vary. I have used both bicycle type and round and they both work well. I also don't like a super thick padded seat. Just enough to make it comfortable. It should also fold up to make transport easier. The bottom legs should be braced. I have the one for a key but my next one will have a threaded stem for adjustment. Good deals can be found on Ebay and the brands I see used most at shoots are Tama and RocNsock drummers thrones. Jon, that appears to be the same stool I stock and sell. Yes, I agree that it's the best stool I've ever seen, too.
