I have a green Chrony with 2 piece rods and sectional sky screens which can be dispensed with on overcast days.Yeah, that looks like it might be a Caldwell.

Oh crap, brain fart. Yes, the current shoot over chrony I am now using and as pictured is a Caldwell. Open mouth, insert foot.That looks vastly different than my Shooting Chrony.

I see. So I guess the antimony doping in the pellets, being weakly diamagnetic, is enough to be detected if you both boost the field and turn up the detector gain...You will probably need to set the unit to the highest sensitivity.
