Yes, a barrel, complete upper i.e. AR style can legally be shipped in and too California.
Actions or lower units, must be shipped to a FFL and handled as such with DROS and Federal regulations.
But don't ship a straw there, The Cops gonna get you for that![]()
Wow, Maybe there's a tiny little bit of hope there. Huh.I haven't asked why but every time I order a drink I still get a plastic straw. Maybe the law is on hold.
The craziness is isolated in a few spots. 95% of california’s land is occupied by normal, good folks like carlsbad there.Wow, Maybe there's a tiny little bit of hope there. Huh.

You likely have always paid for paper grocery bags, the cost was just hidden in the transaction.Damn, I always have to ask for a straw.
Bastards are charging us for grocery bags now!
Granted, this B.S. was put on us by our not so good governor. Stores dont get the nickle a bag they are charging either. It all goes to the state. You likely have always paid for paper grocery bags, the cost was just hidden in the transaction.

Here's some irony. The plastic straw ban roll out was so poorly planned and executed (nobody took the time to ask if there were enough compostable straws in the entire supply system before requiring them) that the state allows businesses to pay a small fine to continue using regular straws.
At our local Peets Coffee, I was informed that they prefer to keep the straws behind the counter and only provide them as truly required in an effort to be more "environmentally aware."
I've used the cardboard straws a couple times and never made it through my meal without the straw breaking down.
Nothing is free when you are in a grocery store. They can't give me a bag but they can sell me one
