Selling reloaded Ammo ?

I have a couple of wildcat T/C contenders that I will take to the next gun show. I'm thinking I could entice buyers by offering loaded ammo with the bbl's. Are there any laws / restrictions on private sale of ammo as a "package deal" ??

I am not sure one would entice a potential buyer. Personally I do not shoot any reloads that I did not load myself. Also, selling reloads is not worth the potential liability in my opinion.

No laws or restrictions, but you can get in more trouble than they are worth if something happens with the reloads..

I could not imagine shooting someone's reloads. To entice a buyer I would consider some brass for your wildcat if you feel the need to sweeten the deal.

Same here. In loading since 1960 I have never given or sold my reloads to anyone else. They could be firing your perfectly safe ammo, and leave a cleaning patch in the bore, an in-bore boresighter in the muzzle, dirt in the barrel, etc., a really bad "detonation" results, and your ammo would be declared the cause.

Be prepared to hire a defense attorney and face a long time in litagation.

MANUFACTURING ammo FOR SALE requires AN FFL and the submission of the EXCISE TAX for its manufacture.
guns and ammo all have a tax paid at the point of manufacture, on top of point of sale sales tax.
