I think this is a good idea! Damaged barrels, opened / mixed powder, opened/ mixed primers, reloaded or even unknown ammo. I would think that altered actions, altered triggers, broken scopes would be ok, if advertised as such. Lightman

I think we should get some suggestions from our friends on the Left......... I'm sure they could add to the list. I guess what we need is more regulation. We can't be trusted to use common sense. LOL

I think that to say "altered triggers" shoul not be allowed to be sold would be a little too broad. Some time ago there were quite a few Remington triggers that were modified to shoot benchrest. I have at least two of these that are both safe and very light. They certainly have been "altered", but they were done by professionals and are very good.

I agree with your point, but I think if triggers are to be included in a "ban", the wording needs to be considered.
