If this is not going to help that much maybe in my case the old rest may work better with the ability to rotate it. With the updates does the gen.2 gain any add. movement over the first mod.? can you get the longer leveling legs with the rest?.....jim
 
The CTC between the "rear" leg is 290 mm (approx 11.4").
If I make another hole about 1" inward on each side, the CTC will be about 9.4" only.
Sorry on my previuos info, 4" rifle's axis supposed to be 5". My mistake.

Yes, I have extra long elevation legs for the regular rest.

SEB, thank you for the info. Now one last thing what is the size of the leg hole? what is the tap size? and the drill size? I want to round them up before the rest comes.......jim
 
I,m on waiting list for a NEO

I understand the huge vertical adjustment available but how much windage can be input via joy stick....maybe i,m not seeing this as top is between fixed posts

I'm #45 on the waiting list and eager to get one. I was told a few months ago that I might (might) see it next summer.

I hope the NEO isn't going to turn out to be vaporware.
 
At least he was open and honest with me on the phone. I too wish he'd chime in to this thread.

I recently received my NEO from Ernie (been on the list from the beginning). It's not vaporware... :-) I had it out to the range a couple weeks ago and it's really a rock solid platform. I'm still deciding whether I like the "bag" system it comes with. I shot off it and the rifle seemed to ride every bit as easily as my Edgewood and my groups were fine. It's just something to get used to.

Anyhow, I can vouch that Ernie is moving down the list...

Not saying SEB is vaporware etc
but how hard is to post a list of where you stand for delivery

Based on my conversation with Ernie 6 months ago I'm not worried about delivery.

If he were taking deposits it would be a different matter. I'm sure he'd like to supply everyone right now. Empathy and patience are in order.

Perhaps the mfr is the one to call out for not addressing these forums - he's got the bigger dog in the fight.
