Seating Depth Testing: Round Robin or All At Once?

Im doing the Berger course depth ladder test later this week (2 3-rd groups of 4 different jumps). Im wondering if I should shoot 3 shot groups of each depth, or shoot in a round robin style? (regardless im left with 8 different 3-shot groups - just trying to decide if I should shoot those groups individually or round robin)

thanks

I settle on what powder charge, then I tweak seating depth. Its got me under half MoA.

In reality I see no reason why the order matters as the best load is gonna be a specific charge at specific seating depth.

Id recommend 5 shot groups, of all one depth at once.

I assume your shooting a ladder format based on your question, I will do either depending on conditions. If its really good, round robin, but usually groups.

Correct. The Berger method is a form of a ladder in .040 jumps. Ill edit my original question to clear that up a bit.
THanks for the input!

So do you start with the loads furthest off the lands, in case the longer jump shows best groups early in test ? Then seat remaining rounds deeper to test between the steps. Asking about hunting rifle, since I don't shoot targets or steel.

I’ll shoot these at 550 yards’ one point of aim probably a round robin I’ll make that call at the range
Alright I chickened out and shot groups. Looks like green 3/4 vertical at 550 is this weeks winner ...

I don't understand this "Round Robin" approach...what can be learned from introducing all the extra variables ?
Well I’ve been meaning to try it but for some reason I chicken out at the last minute and shoot groups.
There’s a few real accomplished shooters I’ve talked to that say it’s a good way to test for mid range and beyond.
Hopefully or at least in my Mind I’ll reduce some variables by using one point of aim and not shifting my rear bag around.
The other thought is barrel heat distribution throughout the test would evened out.

Would a group be more consistent if shot all at once or over a few minutes time- counting wind and fouling wise?
