I don't know if I would say anything. I know there is freedom of speech but he could possibly sue based on you causing a loss of business? Maybe if you stated exactly what you didn't like it would be OK, but I wouldn't want to have to show up in court 500 miles from my home, lose the case and pay damages and his lawyer fees. There any rules here saying I can’t share a story here, names, in hopes of preventing others from getting screwed? Crappy outfitter experience.
And You need to read post 14 where he did provide the guide's business name. What did you tip for? Do you tip a waitress before you get your meal and service? Those of us that have used outfitters have stories… some bad but most average to good. You need to “out” this guy to save others from the misery you had. Or at least PM those that ask and I am asking since may go to SD next year.
Way I see it, it’s the same as leaving a review. I thought about not saying anything, heck I left without saying anything, then it started to sink in and I took it personally.I don't know if I would say anything. It is shocking what some people eat and call good. That sounds like a fine meal in the field to me. I once hunted with some acquaintances who were supposed to bring the food. All they provided was a can of sardines and a whole onion for each person and a loaf of white bread, with hot Budweiser to wash it down. At least I didn’t have to pay for it…..lol
