Scope Suggestions for a New Rifle

I have a custom McMillan on the way in 300 Win Mag. 24" #5 bbl, Vais Brake on a conventional hunting stock. Would like to try some F class shooting with it and appreciate some recommendations on scopes. Looking at a Night Force 5.5x22 but would
like some other options.

I would go with atleast an 8x32x56. You will see that a lot of guys including myself shoot the 12x42x56. I would also look at the sightron SIII scopes.

Ps. Make sure you can remove the brake! They aren't allowed in Fclass.

Thanks for the reply and advice on scopes. Checked the rules re muzzle brakes and certainly not permitted and for good reason. It should be removable.

I have tried them all but March and US Optics scopes.

The Nightforce 12x42x56 Benchrest model is hard to beat. I have a 32, but I like the 12x42's better!

I use mine for hunting and Benchrest shooting!

Nightforce makes great scopes. I have a 12-42 NXS on one F Class rig and a March 10-60 on another. Both nice glass, but the eye relief on the March is more critical and harder (slower) to acquire. If tactical matches are part of your shooting, just go with the 5.5-22 NF NXS.

You'll have to unscrew that brake to shoot F Class as they are not permitted.

The NightForce is a great scope but so is the SSIII Sightron in either 8x32x56 or 10x50x60 Dollar for Dollar you just can't beat the Sightron III. ;D
