Scope Level

I have a few varmint rifles that I plan on using for shots at 700+ yards and I want to outfit them with levels.

Which do you guys prefer and why??

Thanks

I use a Vortex Scope Level. It puts the level out to the left or right of the scope depending on the shooter and which way you put it on the scope. That way you dont have to take your face off the stock to see it. I like it. Simple and too the point.

I use the scope level from 21st Century Shooting on all my rifles. It works the same as the Vortex, you can keep your cheek on the stock and adjust rifle cant. Good reliable product.

+1, I use the same level and really like it a lot. I am a left hand shooter and it was no problem putting it on the right side of my scope. It is really bright which makes it very easy to see also.

In the past few years, I've installed Sinclair scope levels on all my varmint rifles. Both straight and offset units are available, and I've used both.

My Cooper M21 Varmint 223 with one of the straight versions:

Lots of choices here that all do the same thing. It boils down to style/aesthetics and personal taste. One very valuable piece of gear.

I use the US optics folding one . it mounts to the scope base . it folds in flat , it has a screw off protective cover that can be screwed on the other side to help prevent losing it . I can see it while I'm in shooting position . so far I'm satisfied with them . can be used on either side .

I use wheelers and Vortex, like the wheelers better as its more visable to me.
Amazon has others that mount to your scope base as well as the tubes.. IMO there is no reason to drop $60+ on a little bubble level except for the "brand" they all use a .99 cent bubble.

When I first decided I needed a scope level there were few choices and all of them expensive. I needed five of them so I made my own. They have been in use for almost 10 years without a problem.

The level from Menards was about $3.00.

Epoxied to a Weaver base.

And attached to an upside down weaver style ring.

Spray painted black for a finish.

That's pretty slick!!

the Holland only works on right handed guns as you can not turn it around as I have one I need to get rid of because I'm a lefty and it is not doing me any good! so if anyone is interested let me know, RW

I just got two of these from David in the mail. I'll use it in the match this weekend. I mounted it low and offset left.
