Scope 'front overhang' too much?

Here's my CZ 457 mounted with the Leupold 45x45 Competition scope.
It's great. Shoots well.
But am I worrying too much about the amount of scope hanging out the front unsupported by the front ring.
The scope is where I need it for eye relief. The mounts are where they have to go.
But the large (to me) amount of unsupported scope tube hanging out from that front ring to the objective has me worried about bending it, or maybe it might affect accuracy (?)
Do I need to fit a rail? I like that the current setup has the scope objective down low (about 1/4" clearance to the rifle barrel).
Worth doing 'something' or just leave it as is?DSC05810a.JPG

Just looking at rails and at most I get another 1" of support (by allowing the front mount to move forward).
Is that extra 1" of support worth the hassle?

try an experiment.
lock the rifle down well in a good rest and a good bag. make it as solid as you can so the cross hairs are steady on a target.

now reach out with your left hand and put your thumb gently on the bottom of the stock and your forefinger on the top of the objective bell and ever so gently squeeze them together while watching the crosshairs on the target.

report back with results.

I found these (seems like quite a few folks make them). It just extends the front mount.

That might work too.
This rifle is never going outdoors!
No woodchucks, squirrels, or prairie dogs will be hurt.
Strictly indoors range only, and carried in a nice stout case..which I have yet to build (wooden case as per my Martini) or buy (plastic with lumpy foam packing).
So, as this rifle will be pampered maybe there will never be an issue.
I'm just making sure, and every little bit helps.

BKL makes a cantilevered mount that fits an 11mm rail. Rear: straight, front: cantilevered. Could provide the additional support you are looking for

don't over tighten it to compensate, rings have left marks on the front already, you have to relieve the rings at the split or they will dig in when you torque them down, original question I think your good, I wouldn't worry to much, Unertls use to stick way over
