Scope adjustments move opposite of expected.

It's possible... I had a 3.5-10 Mark ?? Leupold a few years ago that had the reverse of the normal elevation effect, but the turret was also marked that way. Called Leupold and they asked me where I had obtained the scope. Turned out it was made for the military and had the military direction like some of their iron sights. Not sure about the windage, but I think it was also reversed from civilian scopes. Sent it in and they made the adjustments work like their standard 3.5-10, no charge.

OK, cant stand it anymore...
If you are looking through the scope--
Turning elevation (top knob) up, the crosshair will go down in the scope BUT POI will be higher. It looks backwards when looking through the scope but if you think about it, when the crosshair goes down the rifle has to be raised to reaquire the intended impact. Thus turning elevation up raises the POI.

Yea, according to Hornady that C M is a bad boy. It will re-adjust it's flight path at 500 yds. after already killing a Moose and look for anything else that might be close by all the way out to 1000 yds. and sometimes further.
I am glad I got rid of my CM years ago with the dies so it won't ever come back. Way too dangerous for this shooter. :)

Vortex has a lifetime warranty for a reason…their optics NEED it!

I just sent in a PST Gen II 5-25 scope because the windage adjustments quit working. Never even fired it. And this isn’t my first run in with Vortex warranty claims. Also have had issues with their Razor line.

But then I have a 2nd identical PST Gen II 5-25 scope on a 300 Norma Mag Improved and it performs flawlessly. I guess that’s the crap shoot you get with Vortex.
