Ok I have a long question and I hope I can explain it correctly.
I glass bedded my new rifle stock and mounted my scope (leupold VX3 4.5-14x40 30mm tube with m1 turrets)
When I went to sight in left to right was perfect.
But up and down it shot way high about 15 inches at 75 yards but was able to zero the gun on target.
I would like to center my adjustment of the scope.
Would you shim one of the scope mounts or add to the glass bedding???
I have no idea which to shim front or back mount I cannot get it straight in my head which way to move it.
I have 5.5 revolutions on the up and only 2.5 revolutions down.
Help before I pull my hair out.
Thanks
