Where's the other 2 shots in each group??

I was doing load development, and three, three shot groups is my standard. Also, when your gun likes to throw a flyer about every 10 shots, it has other benefits too!

I still like 2 shots when testing . 5 -2 is the same as 2-5 .
So many times have I had a condition change and have the test results change. Larry

I use two shots for testing 22LR ammo. Standard test using a box of 50 is to shoot two foulers and then 24 two shot groups, calculate average and standard deviation. Have tested about 34 loads that way and have gotten pretty consistent results.
