I had a post on the advanced gunsmith site about a new Savage 'f' class rifle that i had problems with and the question if anyone else had seen the same problem, and thanks to that site i was directed to a contact in Savage that actually called me back and spent about ten minutes on the phone asking questions as what was going on and that they would fix the problem to my satisfaction, this is only the second gun company the other being Springfield Armory to ever take care of any questions or problems in this way.
in todays environment of being too busy to even worry about problems this is beyond customer service. i know that all products have positive and negative things happen, but most company's do not support there products like these, i will be buying more Savage even if i have to put more work into them compared to another brand as i know they will stand behind it.
by the way my longest shot on a prairie dog is not with my Cooper Arms, it is with my .223 AI savage model 12. 650 yards.
