The SAV-2 trigger arrived in the mail yesterday and I installed it this morning. Either I got lucky or they really did make some improvements to the trigger. It now comes mostly pre-assembled so it really is a "drop in" replacement.
The only problem I had was with the sear pin holes on the new trigger. They were a RCH small. A few swipes with a round file and everything fit perfectly. After adjusting the back lash and safety set screws I replaced the trigger pull spring with the lighter one and put a gauge on it. 2.7 oz. A little light for me so I adjusted it to 4.5 oz and locktited the set screw. During this process I was slamming the bolt home, knocking the receiver against my work bench, and even dropped the butt of the floor and it stayed cocked and locked so I'm happy.
