I wasn't able to get on for a couple of days but it opened for me about 10 hours ago and I just tried and it's down again

All I get is error 404 - not found
I'm assuming that the response ie down for maintenance or not found depends on how your IP deals with unfound websites.

Hopefully all that information accumulated over the years isn't gone.

Down For Maintenance

The site is down for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I hope that this is not like the Mr. Hero location near me that had a sign in the window about 15 years ago stating something like "reopening soon". I am still anxiously waiting. When they kick the current tennants out, I will be ready to visit the location as soon as they open!

I don’t think any of us really understand the time commitment it takes for someone to run these forums. Saubier has been around for a long time and if it’s struggling it MIGHT indicate that someone at the top is tired of the constant maintenance it requires to keep it going, we’re lucky here, the forum boss and team deals with all kinds of crap on a daily basis and we get to log on and come enjoy it. The time commitment and headaches are much more than we realize I’m sure.

If Saubier goes go the way of the cave bear I hope the immense amount of data is saved somehow. Not sure how that would be done without someone taking it over though.
