Hope so, but, in the last few years, activity there has unfortunately trickled down to nearly nothing. I used to be a big fan of "The Go Go Varmint Go" site. Does anyone remember that? I got the %$!! out of there when the admin. clarified some things about posting and that acceptable posting was "to include the *good morning calls*". I know that a lot of people, rightly so, were steamed about the incessant "good morning calls", and that started to dominate the traffic. A lot of people bailed after the admin. made that statement, and I think that the site more or less activity-wise tanked.

Probably suffering from Signature overload. Some members feel obligated to waste bandwidth with their all knowing blatherings. Thankfully the worst offender has left the range.

Yup, I remember the GGVG site, was on there in the early to late 90's, but bailed when it got cluttered with those 'good morning' posts, as it turned into a complete waste of bandwidth and my time.

I just hope Saubier does not fail and disappear, as it was a great site for small caliber info by those who enjoyed those small calibers the most.

Hogpatrol.....knowing fully who that worst offender was, I agree, and don't miss being bashed by him on many occasions.

I've checking saubier everyday for the last week or so. Still sayin' down for maintenance.

Same here, I check every day hoping it's back, but I'm now fretting somewhat that it may be lost. Sure would be a pity to lose all that information. Positive thoughts, gentlemen.....can't hurt.

Anyone here able to reach the admin/mods to get a sitrep?

I've been a member there and was fairly active back in the 2000s when I built a 17M4. I'd briefly scan for interesting to me content during the last decade, so I'm not sure who the "prick" was. Please enlighten me, not trying to start anything, I'd just like to know.

ETA: I don't think it was me, I was only a prick on coyotegods a few times, otherwise, Ive been pretty cordial. IMHO

It seems to be more than a server issue, as one reported. It would appear that there is more to it than we think or want to hear about. I hope I am wrong, but it may well be down for good.

I used to be a very active member there. The founder (who has a full time job) apparently lost enthusiasm a few years back. His brother basically took over the admin duties but I suspect his interest in the subject matter was never particularly high. I drop in occasionally to see what’s happening but there’s a night and day difference between now and, say, 20 years ago. Basically the inmates are running the asylum.
