Sako or m16 extractor

I have two 6x45’s a 700 and a model 7. I’m going to have extractor work done to both. Does anyone have recommendations on which extractor is tougher between the m16 and sako? Also looking For recommendations on a gunsmith who is prompt, reasonable, and reliable. Thanks

LRI is prompt and reliable and they won't install a Sako version.

Mini-16 is best of both worlds and far safer than a Sako style

What about 'carlsbad', a member here. I know he bushes bolt faces, he may do extractors, also.

Not to say anything bad about Chad and LRI, they do a good job considering how much work flows through the doors. Personally I would find a shop where you'll get more of a true custom experience. YMMV

Sometimes the bolt nose counterbore in the barrel needs to be opened up for the m16. Both will work fine if done right.

Several years ago, I sent a 223 Remington 700 bolt to Gretan to have a Mini 16 extractor installed. About a week later, he called me and said that he could not install a Mini 16 but would install a Sako. I don't remember his reasoning but that bolt now has a Sako extractor.
