My wife bought a Ruger Max 9.
We shot it last weekend. I will be adding a threaded barrel to host a Banish 9k and I am going to get her a dot as well. Recoil is manageable. Accuracy is better than I expected. I only used standard level reloads in it. No functional issues. It is a better easier shooting gun than her Hellcat or the XD3.3. I will also get her some 13 round mags. The single 10 rounder is silly. So for a backup firearm this will do nicely. If you are in a situation demanding clothing that can not conceal a full size handgun this might work. Fill it up with some Rangers or similar.
