Wonder what a little blue or purple candy over the top of that would look like. Just curious but I bet you can tell me. Lol! Maybe a little pearl.

I have 1 on deck black with a coarse white pearl, but I don't want to dilute Roy's thread.
I'll send you pictures of 1 I did for Dusty cobalt blue candy over black then a healthy dose of coarse blue pearl.

I'm still very curious as to Roy's finish on this 1...
Automotive or something entirely different??

Awesome! Thanks! And yes...I was not taking anything away from Roy's work. That sucker is gorgeous. Like I said, I love straight black on anything, pretty much. As usual, his work is super. I've got it's sister in here for a build now. It was inletted for a different action than is going into it so it's getting some work before painting.

How could you tell??
I'd like to talk with you a bit about matt finishes on wood.
I've contemplated sanding the final clear with 2000-3000 grit....
I believe you stated something about wax n steel wool.
Is this done over your wood sealer?

I was lucky, it’s business as usual except for a little stiffness in the hand and gloves not fitting exactly right LOL. If ya ever get back towards home stomping grounds look me up , we will shoot, fish or something.

Will do, I believe last year's trip is gonna happen this year, Zacks 68 3 door is close to being ready for me to come get it.
