Is it just me or is that the most extravagant figuring you’ve shown us so far? That wood seems like another grade above the others and I appreciate how you’ve lined up the grain between the pieces.

I got some drops today to play with alcohol in my dyes...
I pray it works with my colortone dyes.

Very nice!
No there all exhibition grade, that one looks more dramatic because the grain is running across the stock, I wouldn't be comfortable doing that without the core.
