This is the last crotch walnut stock I finished(A homebuilt nerfgun for my 6 year old son).
This side looks ok, but the other side could be called a black mess.
It looks fantastic, funniest part of your analogy is a lot of the under 30 crowd will wonder what a phone booth isThis finish may or may not end up looking like a hand rubbed oil finish as claimed, but I'll tell you what, I'd rather try to sand paper a lion's ass in a phone booth than do it again, it will add at least 1k to the stock, the rep did NOT mention that!!!
