RIP Jeff Beck

If not the greatest guitarist ever, he's certainly in the conversation.

Probably his best live show - at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London

Video got blocked. It's been on YouTube for years. Must be youngsters finding out who Jeff beck was?

Years ago, I was given VIP tickets to an outdoor concert at Fiddlers Green.
Almost didn't go as I'm not good with large crowds. Front and center in a gated area for Jeff Beck! Glad I went.

Saw him in '76 with Jan Hammer ... was standing directly in front of the stage ... he was wearing a white sport coat with white Strat looking identically to the cover of Wired. Ground breaker, brilliant musician. RIP
Many, many great players/albums, as such too many to list.

However, Wired and Blow by Blow are probably two of the "coolest" guitar albums ever!

Gary Moore was probably my number one influence. He's gone now also. He drank himself to death. That's truly sad.

Beck was a guitar player's guitar player.
