That looks interesting, and handy. Also looks home made. Great idea. Who made that one?

I bought one years ago from someone on the VHA site. It worked OK but not as good as a drill and a socket or my Benchsource.

Back in the day I stood my cases up in a cake pan with water part way up the case. Once the case neck turned orange I knocked it over in the water. It worked but drying the cases was a pain and later I found out I was overheating the necks (although it didn't seem to hurt performance).

We have come a long way with the new annealing machines and Tempilaq.

That looks like one of Todd Kindler's "poorman's" annealing tools from the "Woodchuck Den". Rumor had it they were actually pretty effective. Never used one. dedogs
I think that's where it came from, I found it in a box of reloading "stuff" from an estate sale, might be good for someone that had no more than 100 weight sorted , ect cases.

I had one seemed to do an OK job. Was disappointed with the price for a piece of copper tubing and a couple of brass fittings. No picture on website or I wouldn't have bought it.

I bought one about 20 years ago from Tod Kindler at the Woodchuck Den. I bought it for annealing my formed 17 cal cases and it was excellent. I have used it on 223-243-6TCU-7TCU-30-06. I'm sold on it and its the only method of annealing I use now.
