Some time last year I picked up a few boxes of Norma USA TAC-22 22 long rifle ammunition. Today I was shooting with my 1969 Marlin Golden 39A Mountie. I have a scope on the rifle and have it sighted with Remington 22 Thunderbolt 22 long rifle. I also shoot the Marlin with Aguila Super Extra 22 long rifle. I have not noticed a significant change in point of impact between the Aguila and the Remington ammunition. When I tried the Norma loads the point of impact went 1" right and 3" low at 25 yards. I was kind of startled. This is the most change I have ever noticed with 22 long rifle ammunition. I have seen large changes with 22 short ammo. Anybody see this kind of change with ammunition? By the way I have never found my Marlin 39A to be particularly accurate. My grandson has a Savage 64 that really shoots. It puts my Marlin and my Winchester Wildcat to shame.
