I’m not sure this bipod set up holds this original 40x back one bit relative to putting in it a Seb.

Kelly M’s stock along with the rubber feet relay back to me no vibrations.

Just shot some federal match ammo with it at 50 yards. Better ammo than it gets credited for being. Holds were center to one line left with vertical holds requiring half a line up and down, obviously not all done very well, but the gun works!

Shot from top left to bottom, then next column to right and so forth. Bipods are much happier with vertical adjustments from the rear than right and left torque.

Guys,
I've showcased 20 of the rifles in this thread. Check out today's Sunday GunDay story. I would like to feature even more -- but the deadline called.

GEEEZ! My .22 rimfire rifles sorta pale in comparison to some of the beauties previously posted. Still though, I just love to tinker with these, if only to see how well I can get them to perform and with which .22 rimfire ammunition:

My Anschutz 1408 ED Super Running Boar from 1980. 1600 series with bloop tube attached and without. Shoots better without.

Nice rifle JMP304. Jeremiah does very good work. Did he do the barrel as well?

Scott

Edit: I just realized JMP304 IS Jeremiah! Of course he did the barrel. My bad!

Not mine but an interesting walk down memory lane. They were something else, siliconized and polarized.
Check out the shipping box. It still has the postage stamps. This was back in the day when you could mail order one from Sears Roebuck and have it mailed to your house. Those were the "good ol' days".

Probably one of the most boring posts in this thread.

Savage MkII in 22lr.

Cheap wooden stock, thin pencil barrel. My squirrel/field gun. Absolutely nothing special about this....except it's left handed. It shoots fine. (It prefers CCI standard velocity rounds) Just a nice field gun. Less than $200 (before scope) I did splurge and put a more-than-needed scope on it. Most scopes with fixed parallax, have it fixed at 50 yards. (in this category) I wanted variable parallax so I could set it at 35 yards. I don't know if it really makes any difference, but I do try to go for accurate head shots. The scope is also a little overkill in magnification, but it does help with the head shots and my aging eyes.

As a youth in the 70's, I always dreamed of a left handed bolt. So getting back into shooting/hunting about 8 years ago, I was delighted to discover this gun. Growing up I had a semi-auto 22, and every few rounds it would spit powder on my face. Not cool.
