Here's my CZ 455 FS:

I didn't think a "full-stock" was supposed to shoot this well. It does have a "Yo-Dave trigger" installed and the action has been bedded. It does really like Norma-Tac .22 pretty much:

This is three different Lot #'s, and all seem to print fairly close to the same point. The only reason my target stand was at 35 meters is because I had my range finder set on "meters" rather than yards. Once I find that .22 rimfire groups fairly well at this distance, only then will I try going further.

Sorry been off the forum mostly for a while, just busy with life and work, but still shooting. I have been added to the local range shooting team as the precision rifle guy, thank you to stephen at www.proteq.us

Any way i had a new rifle built this past fall by Mark Penrod at penrod precision. 2500x action, shilen ratchet barrel, jewel trigger, McMillan stock, harrel tuner, sightron s3 10-50×60 glass, and shooting it off my local made arnold machine rest by cliff arnold. Went to lapua testing center east for testing and got a case of midas+. Sorry Brett Bcz had a buddy local paint it, to worried about the state of the union to let it go across country

Going to my first ARA match with it in the morning in Wabash, In.

that looks just like my Savage MK II. what ammo does yours like ?
Mine likes just about everything I feed it. RWS 50 is about the best

I haven't a whole lot of extensive testing this spring, but as other work subsides, I want to run a bunch of .22 rimfire through it. Will post targets and ammunition choices when that's done, hopefully soon.

Hi All,

New on the forum though a long time lurker. I use a CZ457 in .22 magnum mainly as a trainer - bipod and rear bag kind of stuff. It has evolved over the last year or so. Next change will be a Lilja barrel. This because It can shoot brilliantly but not consistently and accuracy degrades as it gets minimally dirty. Also, it doesn't like 40gr rounds -groups open up to 1.5 MOA. It's at its best with 30 and 35 grain rounds running at up to 2250fps. I believe that to be a twist issue.

As bought with a Nikon Monarch 4x16 mildot scope:

Best at 50 yards:

An ARA target, first time I shot this - 50 yards:

I then added a bunch of stuff - KRG Bravo stock, Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x, New bipod and Precision Underground Bag, trigger spring:

With this setup I went to 100 yards+ exclusively. the next three targets are good, best and average:

This is my flagship CZ, 452 American, MDT chassis, Athlon Cronus BTR.
839B7EFA-063E-4219-99D0-27751B9349F4.jpegIt’s a pretty consistent .75 MOA shooter at 100 yards as long as the wind ain’t bad. I haven’t shot at 100 since I got the new rest and 3” “benchrest adapter” and scope. I still don’t think I’ll ever match or beat that .655” AVG target that was shot in moderate to heavy rain.70CD30CE-B581-4653-9D98-A98D54975992.jpeg
I shot this today.

Bergara B14R in DPT Chassis with DPT Suppressor. Shoots well, and is used for everything I need a .22LR for (22 'PRS' matches, Rabbits, and my daughter uses it for 50m (Benchrest) Target Shooting.IMG_0200.jpgIMG_0201.jpg

Sharp looking rifle. Is that barrel aftermarket?
Hi Cole, The barrel is what comes with the Carbon version of the Bergara B14R. The stock that came with the rifle is super nice but quite heavy and I prefer this chassis which I already had, and it fits the kids better too

H&R M12-
BM 3G 28" Nevius chamber
Don Stith BR Classic stock
Weaver 46X
factory trigger reworked for 2-oz release
Harrell lite tuner

5-shot group with no tuner, first range test was shot in the factory stock

Got ya, was hoping that someone was finally offering an aftermarket barrel for those rifles. Nice rifle!
