My Remington 521T Junior Target 1948-9 vintage.

Retailed for under $40 in 1948..... and it shoots.

A couple of mine. Top is the 2017 ARA Project Rifle. Penrod barrel, Trident action, Killough bedding, Flavio, Shilen, Vortex Golden Eagle, custom paint and graphics on a McMillan straight line Edge solid fill stock.

Bottom is a total Penrod build. Trident, McMillan heavy varmint straight line Edge stock with Penrod's custom aluminum bedding block. Flavio, Muller 4g MI, Don Blue bloop, Charlie Scott mid barrel, March scope in picture, it now has a Vortex Golden Eagle.

I was doing some 10 meter tri-pod standing practice in the basement today. Dealing with pellet tins/pellets is a huge pain in the butt. Then it came to me...

The Traust TASK is awesome. Not just for water bottles and Kestrels. Money well spent.

There’s a discipline where a factory rifle under $1,000 gets to shoot at a bigger ringed target. I’m going to try out this new Ruger combination in those limited matches, weighed down with an enormous Valdada scope on a Sinclair bipod.

I want to scope up this new 1941 52 B 28 inch heavy barrel and try it out. My first 52 was a D single shot 28 inch, and a very low risk bargain buy, but it has shot very well, enough to prompt another riskier gamble.

I’ve never seen scope mounting done this way. Usually I try to clamp on wide rings and spread them out about as much as possible. I don’t like to drill holes in discontinued receivers though, but those appear new. Very curious about benefit.

My Springfield 1922's. An m1 I got from a shooting club back east. Nra stock with upgraded m2 bolt and Lyman super target spot 15x. And a unmolested "except front sight" m2 with military stock. Both are amazing shooters!
