Do all rimfire barrels have a choked bore at the muzzle? I have read of them having a choked bore but don't know if that was only associated with benchrest level rimfire barrels. The reason for asking is that I am getting a Ruger American Rimfire barrel threaded to add a suppressor for my kids to shoot, and thought about getting it cut down a few inches at the same time to keep the length down when the suppressor is added. I wouldn't think these factory barrels would have a choked barrel but I have no idea, and i don't want to get it cut down if it would remove the choked section. Would cutting this down potentially cause any issues?
