So cleaned the barrel for a couple days, used everything in the box, TM, patchout, wipeout, boreshine, 40x, sweets, overnight ballistol soaks, etc..
Me the man with the borescope this morning, I looked at it as well as him, spent about 30min checking the whole thing from chamber to crown, unfortunately was clean as could be and everything looked good. Had him double check all my floating, bedding, scope rings and rail, made sure the mag box wasn't binding, just got a second eye to go over it, unfortunately again, all looked good.
Shot 2 foulers that printed 1" apart and knew it was gonna be a good day but I let it cool of and thought maybe it was the clean bore thing.
Tried the original load that shot well, 3 shots slightly over an inch.
Shot another load that had shot decent early on and was close to the first of the day, in the high .2s, got kinda happy, thinking it may like 4-5 foulers.
Let it cool and shot that same load again and was presented with a 1.5" group with non of them printing near where the previous 2s group did.
Let it cool again and shot one other load that shot well in the beginning, .8 to .9, awesome....
I had it in both hands ready to give it the old John Henry spike driver but ended up leaving it at the range with someone.
So yeah, a rifle doctor, I need one....or a cutting torch.
