Review my reviews?

I thought I would try my hand at reviewing products.

I’m not a professional reviewer by any stretch of the imagination, and I don’t have any ties to any manufacturers - I’m just looking to pass on my honest experience of the various pieces of equipment that I’ve used over the last 37 years, and some of the techniques I’ve tried. Hopefully someone might find it helpful?

I’ve chosen Facebook as a platform initially, purely because it was the path of least resistance initially. I’m open to suggestions, if there are alternative platforms you might favour.

I’d be interested to hear what you guys think of my efforts so far.

How do my reviews compare to the sort of reviews you guys normally like to read? Does a good photo speak 1,000 words etc. Are there any pieces of kit you’d particularly like to see reviewed etc.?

Many thanks in advance for your help,

By far the best responses to anything on this sight. Accurate and hilarious.

FB, tweeter, slapchat and all those others simply prove the old adage that opinions are like elbows, everyone has one. Just depends who’s elbows you want to see at this point. Personally I prefer all the elbows here.

What's Facebook?
Its the happy place where you can put your private life on public display, and where the government, industry, other governments, predators and local thieves have up to the minute intel on you, including photos that end up in multiple facial recognition data bases. It's also the place where you can share your opinions and videos, unless of course you step over the line, that line starts with the word "conservative"

Any questions?

Other than the social media recognition, how does it differ from this site we are members of?

Uh, the line here starts with "politics" and you don't have my photo or know where I am right now, for starters. But agree everything on the internet is monitored, my Google Home told me so as it overheard a similar discussion yesterday.

Actually, if you have a full forum profile, that's easy to find. Nothing is private in this day and age.

And the weapon of choice to invade our privacy is?

[subtle clicking sound heard and slow internet due to gov. watching me]

Everything, especially monitoring gun related forums .....

OH, the weapon of choice? Our stupidity of course !

First thing on the to do list when I retire one day... throw this damn phone away! I would really scare you if I told you how much your smart phone tracks you, without your knowing. I can pull up a screen on your phone that shows everyplace you have ever been and the places you frequent often are stored and reported if you don’t know how to disable

Yup... only way to know you’re not being tracked is to leave it at home;)!

Al , I gave him my honest opinion from the get go, as to this being a tough crowd. Reading through all the posts. I'd say I nailed it.
