Replacing wolf small rifle primers

Seems that everytime I zero in on a load, something changes. So back to load developing - again. I just recenly found out that wolf primers had been discontinued. Having had a bit of experience with CCI BR4 that is where I started. Working with 6BR in lapua brass. Results so far show that I may have to add an additional 0.5 to 0.6 gr of RL 15. any one else have experience with this?

the Wolf and Tula primers are hot and tough,,you might try Rem 7 1/2`s or CCI450`s and bump the powder up a little to get back where you were,

I really liked the Tula 5.56 Magnums in my BRDX but they quit importing them also,,

Ran out of Wolf SR Mag. primers, and went to CCI 450 Had NO change in POI.. Tommy Mc..

I tried some wolf primers went from 1/4 groups to 2MOA at 100 yards. My 1/4 groups were from CCI BR4. Seemsjust changing primers made a huge impact.

In several tests published some years ago by German Salazar (and others) Wolf and Tula primers had the lowest flash of all the primers tested (Fed. 215M,210Ms, 205M / CCI BR2, CCIBR4 / Rem. 7 1/2, 9 1/2 - which were the hottest by far / Win. Small and Large - next hottest.
He measured pressures in the chamber and shot them at 600 yds. to measure vertical. It was fairly conclusive in favor of the Russian products. Sadly his Blog (and associated data) was taken down and we are left with what ever those who followed his work managed to salvage. I have a copy of the Precision Shooter magazine with the Large Primer data but the Small Rifle article was lost in a move.
Not doubting other's results but I have found the lowest ES and SD numbers for my match ammo with the Russian primers.
And as I am going to run out within the next year, I am wondering what I will be using next as well! Going to give S&B a try.
