Wolf small rifle primers - Magnun

I ordered some powder today from Powder Valley and decided to add to my order to mitigate the cost of the hazmat fee a little. I saw they had Wolf small rifle primers, but these were their Magnum variety. I have never used those, mainly WSR and Federal primers. I load 223 Rem, 22-2350, 6BR and 22BR.

Does anyone have any experience with the Wolf magnun primers? I found reference in a couple of i'net sites that the compound used in the Wolf Magnums is about the same as their regular primers, and very close indeed to even Rem, Red, and Win. I did read in one place they might be tight for new Lapua brass, but fine in everything else.

So, any suggestions here? I mainly load Lapua brass, but I have a bunch of Win and Rem I think for 22-250 and the 223 Rem. I figure if nothing else I can use these primers for barter.

I used the small mag Wolf primers in some of my 223 loads for my AR-15 and they worked great. Over the chrno they were as good or better than CCI BR-4's which is what I usually use. The accuracy was about the same which is good. The cup of the mag primer is thicker than the regular Wolf primer and it is my understanding that they have the same amount of priming.
