Rendezvous 3.0 2023

Tom .... FYI. Bought a simple cell phone amplifier for my Georgia hunting camp. It consisted of a small beam antenna, a power tuner and indoor/outdoor signal amplifier that anyone can use in the area near it. If covers all the inside of my camp trailer and the outside close to it. If I had set it up outside my guess is it would cover a large part of your range and reception area. It works so well I can now do all the normal cell phone usage plus stream my TV service to the TV.

All it does is increase cell phone signal strength. Just a thought on dealing with poor cell coverage.
 
I can’t believe it but somehow I have more fun than the previous year at this match. So many great shooters. So much awesome food. Hanging out with like minded individuals, sharing techniques and stories. Seeing all the small groups come in before and during the match. It just doesn’t get much better for me. Thanks to my best buddy @Tom E for dreaming this up and the band was awesome last night. That kid on the guitar was amazing.
 
I just made it home and unpacked. Another great match put on by Tom, Sara and the rest of the crew. It’s always fun to make new friendships and renew old ones. To me, that’s what I look forward to the most. I like the challenge the shooting presents but I really enjoy the people.

This is a really fun match and it’s unique with the format, one rifle, 22 pound weight limit and dual yardage 16 target aggregate. Tom and the gang really put a lot of effort into this match and I know everyone appreciates it.

Tome, Sara and their families, Absolutely the Gold Standard on how to host a match. Some said it was an eating event and a LR match broke out. We got really lucky with the great weather as well. The competition was SOOO much fun but the laughter and good times with fellow LR shooters was second to none.
Already planning next years equipment. From Sally and I, Thanks to all for the great time.
To Tod Soeby, get well soon and we plan on seeing you at a match ASAP. Missed you buddy!
 
This match is what a friendly competition/hobby is all about. 46 top notch shooters that are competing in a unique challenging tournament and everyone is pulling for each other. It probably has a lot to do with the amount of bread broken together and the comic relief around the TV. TomE, his better half and entire family are such great people and put on one hell of a show, Thank you guys! It’s always the first priority for my shooting season. 4.0, I cannot wait to see what challenges you will have.
