Remington Leaves NY

About time! Glad they finally did it.

An individual can make that decision in a short period of time. An organization of any size will take years.

Living in new york I could see it happening. I am surprised they lasted this long. It is a total shame our state is so against gun companys. Our governor has found more ways to tax us to death. Heck a pack of smokes is close to 14.00 for generic cigarettes. So sad.

The thing about progressive states is that they have the most regressive taxes in the nation. Same is true of WA. Who has to drive to work? Those who cannot afford to live near work. Where are the highest gas prices to be found, you guessed it, in those progressive states where gas is a sin and is taxed accordingly. The poorest among us have to drive the furthest.

Good. Now I can ride over on a slow day and maybe tour the plant as it is near to my hunting camp.

Amazing to me how so many complain about companies leaving their blue states but still live there and maybe vote the same schmucks into office.

I remember visiting NYC 7 years ago, and I used to smoke. 1 pack of cowboy killers was $14.50, but I digress. I remember when I thought Cuomo was horrible. Those were the days. Living in western NY is one of the greatest places environmentally you could ask for. Great hunting and fishing and hiking. Economically terrible.

Sad that Remington is leaving, I honestly can’t believe it took em that long.

Remington is finally giving the finger to New York!

Should have done this 40 years ago. But, following the bankruptcy and auctioned-off garage sale for $13M, it's better late than never.

Not that moving to Georgia will necessarily keep the snowflakes from bringing future lawsuits over the next "Bushmaster" type gun some violent criminal decides to misuse.

Still, a good step. Get the hell out of NY while the gettin' is still good, sort of. Money talks when it walks. Get to a state that actually appreciates, supports and defends such abilities. Hopefully they can bring together dozens of the finest engineers, gunsmiths and techs in order to craft a resurrected brand that reveres quality, once more. And, hopefully, the idiot public hirelings in New York can pound sand until there's no more sand to be found ... may they enjoy the result they'll have created for themselves.

And what about the people who live in NY?
Fuck’em?
See what happens with ‘executive orders?’ It’s dictatorship. See this guy Santos? Could be he’s a shitbag, but were the hell does the house come off kicking an elected official out? They heard he was a crook?
They are all crooks.
Everything rosie in your state? When did the feds last help you? Your state helping you?
